How Does Job Matching Actually Work?
You submit your job details — suburb, the work needed, and how urgent it is. We send it to approved tradies working in your area. A tradie accepts and contacts you directly to arrange the work. We're matchmakers, not providers, so from that point the job is between you and the tradie.
What Does It Cost Tradies to Join?
Joining is free, and founding tradies who register before launch get their first three leads completely free — not a trial, a permanent part of how we treat every founding member. After that, weekly pricing is simple: 1 lead is $5, 2 leads is $9, 3 leads is $12, 4 leads is $15, and 5 leads is $20. Every tier is a genuine discount over paying one at a time.
What Is the Referral Programme?
Existing tradies who refer a new tradie both get three free leads once the new tradie is approved and accepts their first lead. There's no limit on referrals — the more tradies you bring in, the more free leads you earn.
How Does Billing Work?
Our week runs Wednesday to Tuesday. Invoices go out every Friday morning and are due the following Friday. There's a 48-hour dispute window that closes Thursday midnight, so every invoice going out is already clean, with no open disputes sitting on it.
What Counts as a Valid Dispute?
Only three reasons qualify: invalid contact details, a platform delivery failure, or a duplicate lead. If a dispute is approved, the lead is removed from the invoice entirely. If it's rejected, it gets added to the next invoice instead. We don't offer cash refunds or bank transfers under any circumstances — disputes are handled through the invoice itself.
How Do You Choose Which Tradie Gets a Job?
Brisbane handyman services doesn't rank tradies by ad spend or subscription tier. Job requests go out to approved tradies working in that specific suburb, and the first one to accept gets the job. No bidding wars, no pay-to-rank system.
What If My Job Is an Emergency?
Mark it as urgent or emergency when you submit, and tradies see that flagged clearly so genuine safety issues — burst pipes, no power, security risks — get priority handling. Please only use this for real emergencies, since misuse affects how quickly genuine ones get seen.
Do You Guarantee a Tradie Will Accept My Job?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. We promise your request reaches real, approved local tradies in your suburb. Coverage varies by area, and we're honest about that rather than promising something we can't control.
Is My Information Kept Private?
