Brisbane Handyman Services — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Brisbane Handyman Services. By submitting a job request or registering as a tradie on brisbanehandymanservices.com.au, you agree to the Terms below. Brisbane Handyman Services is operated by Sevraj Pty Ltd (ABN 83 696 649 662), an Australian registered company.

1. What We Are — and What We're Not

Brisbane Handyman Services is a matchmaking service. We connect homeowners in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs who submit a job request with independent local tradies who choose to accept it.

We're matchmakers, not providers. We do not perform, supply, or provide any handyman, trade, or repair work ourselves, under any circumstances. Tradies registered with Brisbane Handyman Services are independent operators of their own businesses — not employees, agents, contractors, or representatives of Sevraj Pty Ltd. We do not supervise, inspect, or guarantee the quality, timeliness, safety, or outcome of any job.

2. Free Leads, Always

Every lead sent through Brisbane Handyman Services to a registered tradie is free. There is no subscription, no per-lead charge, no commission on the value of any job, and no platform fee of any kind — now or in the future. This is not an introductory offer or a limited-time arrangement; it is the permanent model this platform runs on.

This promise cannot be changed by an update to these Terms. If how leads are delivered ever changes, the commitment in this section does not.

3. What Work This Covers

Brisbane Handyman Services matches homeowners with tradies for general handyman work — assembly, installation, repairs, maintenance, painting, and outdoor or garden work. It does not cover licensed trades such as electrical, gas, plumbing, or structural work.

4. Registration & Eligibility

To register as a tradie, you must hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and, where your trade requires it under Queensland law, the relevant licence and insurance. We check that your ABN is registered and active on the Australian Business Register. We do not independently verify trade licences or insurance — it remains your responsibility to hold and maintain whatever your trade legally requires in Queensland. We may decline or remove a registration where these requirements aren't met.

5. How Leads Work

When a homeowner submits a job request, it's sent by SMS to a tradie (or tradies) whose registered trade and service area match the job. Reply "1" to accept a lead — if you don't reply, no action is taken and the lead moves on. Once you accept, the homeowner's contact details are released to you and the job is between the two of you directly.

6. Payment

Brisbane Handyman Services never processes payment for any job. Homeowners pay tradies directly, by whatever method the two of you agree — cash, bank transfer, or card. Because no payment ever passes through this platform, we hold no refund obligation for the value of any job.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Homeowners agree to provide accurate job details, and to deal with the matched tradie in good faith, including arranging payment directly with them for work carried out.

8. Tradie Responsibilities

Tradies agree to maintain a valid ABN and any licence or insurance their trade requires in Queensland, to respond to leads honestly (including declining or ignoring ones they don't want), and to conduct themselves professionally with homeowners they are matched with.

9. Disputes

Because the job itself is a direct arrangement between homeowner and tradie, Brisbane Handyman Services is not a party to it and does not mediate contractual or payment disputes arising from the work performed. We do want to know about no-shows, harassment, or dishonest conduct by either side, and may suspend or remove a tradie's access to leads where there is a genuine, documented pattern of complaints.

10. No Guarantee, No Liability for the Work

Brisbane Handyman Services makes no guarantee about the quality, safety, legality, licensing status, or outcome of any work performed by a tradie, and is not liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from a job, a tradie's conduct, or a customer's conduct.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in how the platform operates. We will not use a change to these Terms to introduce a charge for leads — see Section 2.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
