2. Information We Collect
From customers submitting a job request: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the type of work needed, job urgency, and any details you provide in the job description.
From tradies registering to join the platform: your full name, phone number, email address, business name, ABN, years of experience, and the service area and category you register under. We verify ABN details using the Australian Business Register's public lookup service.
Automatically: standard website usage data collected by our hosting and form providers (such as page visits and form submission timestamps), used only to keep the site and forms working correctly.
3. How We Use Your Information
Customer job details are used to notify approved local tradies in your suburb via SMS, so they can choose to accept your job. Tradie details are used to verify eligibility, manage approvals, send SMS job offers, and handle billing for accepted leads. We use your contact details to send confirmations, updates, and — where relevant — invoices or dispute resolution communications.
4. When We Share Your Information
A customer's contact details are shared with a tradie only after that tradie accepts the job — not with every tradie who receives the initial notification. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the platform: Twilio for SMS delivery, Google Workspace for email, and a hosted database provider for secure data storage. These providers only process information as needed to deliver their service to us and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to authorised systems and following standard security practices for the tools we use. As with any online platform, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we're upfront about that rather than overclaiming.

We retain job request and tradie account information for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes.
